Animal friendly
The fluffy front side looks like it's made from sheep skin, but fear not: it consists of 100% Portuguese sheep wool, and no animal was harmed in its production! The back side is made of upcycled unicolour or retro-style fabric, contrasting with the rustic front.
100% hand made
These cushion covers are 100% hand-made, therefore sizes, shapes and colours vary. The wool locks are from sheep that are outdoors all year round, and as such can contain vegetal matter such as sticks and seeds, even though we remove as many objects as we can during production.
Sustainable
Wool is a truly sustainable resource, which here in Portugal is provided by the sheep once a year. We buy the wool from local farmers at fair prices, and keep transport distances to a minimum. The felting process is environmentally friendly; it uses little water and bio-degradable soap.

Supporting local farmers
Most Portuguese farmers are currently unable to sell their wool. Many throw it away or burn it. We buy wool from local farmers at fair prices to turn them into our fluffy products.
